Some examples of past volunteer positions are:

Street Team: Hands out handbills at the Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market on Saturday and communicates with the public on the festival grounds. Volunteers must be energetic, outgoing, and open!

Set-up/Clean-up: Helps with decorations, setting up tables/chairs, general mover before events.

Bartenders: Serves alcohol and water in the beer gardens. Responsible for bar set-up, clean-up, and collecting empties. Must have ProServe.

Gardens Manager: Gardens Manager — will assist in the supervision of the festival beer gardens. (ProTect Security Certification, and/or Proserve certification is a must).

Box Office: Sells tickets on the Festival grounds, keeps track of sales, provides information about the festival and shows, accepts donations on behalf of CGAS, accompanies CGAS staff on cash drops.

Merchandise Table: These volunteers are in charge of selling Festival and Artist merchandise on the grounds.

Venue FOH: Sells tickets at the show venue, rips tickets, accepts and records donations and last-minute ticket sales. Will be provided with show information to pass on to guests if asked.

On-Site Activities: In charge of specific activities in gazebo park. Responsible for set-up, maintenance, and tear-down of the activity station. Supervises the activities and helps out, if necessary!
